Claire from the Foodbank says in her email

...we're inviting you and your church to take part in a Lent collection. This is to help us continue in the fight against ending hunger today, together and forever. This Lent, we’re encouraging churches to take part in our “40 Items in 40 Days” challenge. Over the 40 days of Lent, we invite your congregation to donate one suggested item per day, helping us build up vital supplies for individuals and families facing hardship.

It’s a simple but powerful way to turn reflection into action, and every contribution will make a real difference to someone in need.'

You can set yourself the 40 day challenge or when shopping pick up one or two items from the list. (We have checked that they would welcome individual items as well as the 40 day items)

Acorn National Director for Scotland Paul Haringman is coming to Easter Ross and will lead us in

8 weekly sessions through the Acorn study booklet ‘Making mission a daily rhythm’

You would be so welcome on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm from Feb 11 at Culbokie church,
